now by Greg Miller, Scoop, Steve Buds, Brian Altano, and at the end of a long day, day

zero of E3 2013. Oh, don't put it like that.

From Microsoft, electronic arts, Ubisoft, and Sony, Microsoft and Sony are the big ones.

Microsoft started off strong. I thought they had a very impressive conference. They finally

showed us a lot of games, exciting games, big exclusives. We're feeling really good about

Microsoft and Xbox One, and then Sony came up with their conference and said, we play

use games, you can sell your games, lend your games, and we're only $400, and there's no

online requirement. Thank you. Bye. Go home, everyone.

So the question is, who wins today? Well, I think we felt good about Microsoft, because

they didn't say any of the things they said last time they got us so upset, right?

It was just about games they thought, let's put the unpleasantness behind us now. Let's

focus on the games. Let's show people Halo, let's show people Minecraft. Project Spark,

like a cool little indie game. I was really happy to see something like that, and they

completely avoided the issue of the services, which is the big question hanging over this

whole presentation. Great. What are you going to do? Is it always online? Can I give my

game to Brian when I'm done with it? No. You can't give me anything. No, it's awful.

They came out and they said, well, here's a lot of stuff to distract you from the fact

that the last time we were here, we totally screwed up. Right. And Sony was like, we watched

that too. Everything we're doing is in direct response. This was Biggie and Tupac. This

is a whole slogan in the Iron Sheik. This was every classic brawl ever, like every movie

monster versus the, it's like, it was fantastic. I've never seen a press conference like this
