Charles episode is a good episode. It is. It's like the old Batman show when you'd wait through the credits and then you'd see back girl right across on the bicycle that her motorbike, you know, that way you knew back girls in the episode and you got really excited.

You just wrote across on your Mr. Slime motorcycle. Okay. I was watching the more recent Batman cartoon, like not the animated series one, but it's called like the Batman. I don't know how old that is. Yeah, yeah, that's there since then now there's Batman brave in the bull. It just reminds me how awesome the animated series was like it's like so far above and beyond.

Like anything. Anyway, sorry. I just wanted to make that point. So I was watching that was like, you know, I don't like the art style. Everything's really goofy. There's nothing serious about this back girl's hot and the animated series as well.

You know, last weekend, we were at PAX East recording live Game Scoop podcast. It was actually episode 200. So it's coming to you in the future. How many more weeks to act? Well, this is episode 198. I believe that. Okay. So in a couple weeks. It's already been video form. You can find videos of it.

But I was saying we were showing Game Scoop tunes at the podcast and when Charles showed up in the Game Scoop, you got a big big pop. People love Mr. Slime. Well, thank you everyone. Let's start out the show talking about PC stuff. What? I know. We don't have PC stuff.

Like Facebook. Yeah, exactly. So this is a return of control. I'll tab IGN's premier PC bucket. It was called control. I'll tab. Yes. What would happen if you press control? Don't press that. Well, but I listeners do not press that. It deletes your Dragon Age saves. Very specific one or two. It doesn't matter. Uh-oh. It's indiscriminate. That's the proper word. Now you're right. Charles, this is a little game called Total War Shogun 2. Oh, hey, I know that game came out this week. Yes, it did. It's a

playable on the personal computer. Your parents tell me that. Yes, if you have a personal computer, you can play, uh, you can play Shogun 2. And yeah, I mean, I thought it was great. Like I've been playing the the Total War game since, uh, since the series started basically with with Shogun. Shogun was the original. This is not mostly war. This is not a partial war. It's total war. Why didn't they call it all out war? Because there's a there's a hyphen. Yeah, it's true.

The hyphens just getting to what hyphens are not good for. I mean, they've already got a colon in the title. They've got the colon. So they're fine hyphen and a colon. Yeah. The hyphen colon combo is just killer. This is why you're not allowed to name and I should on synergy games. I named many of the new. Well, that's we're getting off topic. Right. I want Charles to tell me all about his cute little PC game. It's just adorable. This is a Facebook or a little man. I saw the music keyboard and a mouse to control it. Yeah. If you buy the retail version, it comes with a little pink bow and just all. It's adorable.

But now it's it's really good. It's this equal to to the first total war game. Creative Assembly has been making these games for over a decade now. And it's basically turn based strategy. So sort of like civilization. It makes me salivate and it makes me hate the fact that I can't play it on a console. And it looks. I mean, if you just look at screenshots in video, it looks amazing. Like the visuals are incredible. And that's the that's the in game stuff. So that's the second half. There's like the turn based map strategy game. And then there's really

real time battles with like thousands of, well, in this case, Katana infantry. Yes, little men all tied up with bows and they pop out of presence and they throw stuff bears at each other. It's amazing. Yeah, it's it's really intense. Will it run on my MacBook Pro? I don't I don't know if you can get this from Mac. I don't think you can't. Will it run on my ZX Spectrum? All right. Enough with the fake questions. The real questions. Like I was watching your video review. I'd love to play this game. But you were saying it's a hog, right? Like I would need a giant awesome PC. But yeah, I mean,

I was I was playing it on some some less powerful system. So something that doesn't have like near top of the line video cards. And it it certainly runs better than total war games past because creative assembly has had issues with like optimization for like Empire, for instance, which did not run very well when it came out. And this one certainly runs better. But yeah, I mean, if you want to see all of the detail in the game, which is amazing. Like, yeah, you're going to need. You're going to need it probably inexpensive PC or fairly.

Like not outrageously expensive, but if you have one that's like, you know, five or six years old, which I feel like a lot of people do. It's like, Oh, I haven't bought a new computer in a while. You know, can I still run this and it's like, maybe, but it's probably not going to look very good.

What did you give? Showing to a nine. Yeah, I gave that a nine. I mean, I think that that game is definitely like way up. It's going to be really hard to top that for like strategy game of the year. It's like, it's an all inclusive package. And it has like a ridiculous like multiplayer component.

Calling it in March.

Over. I'm not calling it strategy game of the year. I'm saying it's going to be very difficult for any other game to come close to what creative assembly did with

Chogun too. Is there any game on the horizon that you you're looking at that you think actually could give it a run for its money.

Or is it just totally that the slate is blank and you don't see anything. Maybe if Starcraft, the next Starcraft game comes out somehow this year, which is totally not going to. That's absolutely.

I can't even think of any other strategy. Yeah, I can't be out this year.

I don't I can't think of any that would that would challenge Chogun to if you're out there and you were thinking about putting out a strategy game this year.
