Hi, everybody. Happy Friday. Hi. This is, of course, the GameScoop podcast is IGN's weekly

news podcast. It goes up every Friday and we run down the biggest news stories of the

week that happened in the world of video games. And we find plenty of moments to stop and

laugh along the way. Lots of the devilhoods, three stuff is going on this week. It has

officially entered closed beta. Yeah, closed beta. We got access this week. And there's

actually for yourself. Well, okay, so I got access. Oh my gosh. Anthony and Charles, you both

have been playing, right? Yeah. And actually, beyond the beta, there was bigger news that broke

just this morning, where Diablo is now confirmed for an early 2012 release. And that doesn't surprise

me at all. Yeah, some people are calling out a delay, but it's not really a delay, right?

I mean, it never had an official release date. It's just the guy said that they wanted to do 2011.

They can't. Yeah, it was never like the game. Blizzard had never said the game is definitely coming

out in 2011. It was just sort of like, we want to try to get it out in 2011. To make sense,

if I was Activision Blizzard, and I was controlling when games are coming out, and I knew Call of

Duty was coming out this holiday season, I'd be like, we're not going to put one of our other

games against Call of Duty. Like, even though they're not the same genre, I'm like, I don't want

people to have to compute with their dollars. So next year when we know somebody else is going to release

their badass game in the beginning of 2012, we're going to fuck them over and release Diablo

at the same time. So it'll be Diablo in what? Mass Effect 3. Yeah, exactly. If it is March,

yeah, they'll try and sabotage someone else. Yeah, and I'm not sure if the current beta that's

running right now, which is just a bit of the Co-op game, the PVP stuff is inaccessible.
