And we have a great show for you this week. Big, big show for you this week. We're going to talk about games we're playing such as Super Mario 3D All-Stars and Hades.

We're going to have a light discussion on what the best and worst looking consoles of all time are. But first, the biggest news of the week in the words of IG in zone Ryan McCaffrey.

The biggest news of the last five years. Surely you heard about this already. Microsoft is buying but there's a for seven and a half billion dollars.

Quite a bit more than Disney paid for Star Wars, which now makes Xbox the home of popular video game franchises like Fallout Elder Scrolls Doom Wolfenstein Quake the upcoming Starfield.

I don't think we've got what's that who's Microsoft's mascot now.

I mean Ryan also pointed out that like now Elder Scrolls is like probably Microsoft's biggest like franchise not Halo.

Is Skyrim guy like there is that the face of Microsoft? Yeah, he's a new CEO is what about Doom guy because he just looks exactly like Master Chief.

Yeah, it's just like three tier slices of each of them including.

It looks the same.

And I'm Alchemation.

Oh man, I don't think we can overstate how big a deal this is. Tina what sort of once you started that what was your reaction upon hearing this news?

Well, first off, 7.5 billion is is a big part of it too. It's obviously big news for Microsoft because or rather for Xbox because they're getting all of these titles.

And another thing that McCaffrey pointed out was that it's basically now the home destination for Western RPGs, which is just a huge swath of incredible potential games.

Yeah, you were already pointing out.

So they already had a city in right? Yeah, exactly. And they would have fable coming into newly onto the Xbox series XS and all of that.

But yeah, just the amount of money that went into it is also huge and it's like the not only money.

I can't even consider that amount of money really.

It's also I think more than double what they paid for Minecraft as well, which is really impressive comparison.

That's amazing.

2.0 billion, but still nowhere near what they've paid for Xenomax and all of the studios that came with it.
