What's up everybody welcome to IGN GameSoup. I'm your host Damon Hatfield. Joining me this week is Justin Davis

Cooper. Tina Amini. Sam Clayborn. We've got a great show for this week. We're going to do our run

on our yearly publisher rankings based on their average review scores, top 10 publishers. We got to

talk about final bosses. But first, the news we're all waiting for finally happened this week. E3 2020 has been

canceled. It's the first time in E3's 25 year history. And the Vanara. I mean, well, I mean,

in the end of an unbroken streak. That's fair. I mean, I don't know what people have been talking about

the demise of E3 for many years now. How hard is it going to be for them to pick up the pieces

sort of relaunch again next year, especially if publishers put on a bunch of their own digital

events this year and everything goes swimmingly? Which is already the plan like Microsoft and Ubisoft

have already been proposing that kind of thing. We're obviously far more equipped now than say 10

years ago to do that kind of like digital live stream thing. So it's not an impossibility that we

won't we're certainly going to get those news announcements. Yeah. We're somehow going to get those

demos, whether they're just streamed or whether we revert back to an era where we actually get

hands-on the old school way like through through demos. Remember those things? The pigeon is just

delivered SD card to us. Exactly. It could send out demo units and then we can get burned discs.

We'll just send consoles with it loaded on and we'll shoot it back. Yeah, that's right. Well,

higher carriers. Nintendo had these cases that were fully lined in foam and then they had two

games game cube. You can say scoop game cube shaped like crevices in them and then they put

them in there and then they clam it shut. Do you remember those? Yeah. Yes. I found one like in the

office and we sent it back to Nintendo but it was like for a toilet princess 10 years later.

Yep. Well, we've got like three yes units too.
