game. The uncharted writers leaving Naughty Dog. But first, breaking news today. Jack

Trenton stepping down as president, CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment. There he is.

Jack. He's friend of yours. Yeah, big time. Big time.

We've interviewed him in New York. I've been right here in this room. Yeah, sat in one

of these two chairs. Yeah, but it wasn't the other one though. So that's kind of gross.

That's right. I mean, related jokes about Sony. Yeah. Yeah. I've interviewed. I covered

PlayStation exclusively for IGN for like six and a half years. I've talked to Jack Trenton

a lot. Sad to see him go, but what a time for him to go, right? PlayStation four is on

top. That's what I want to ask. Yeah. It seems like a strange time for me, right? Like,

they just launched a PlayStation four. They're riding this huge wave of success. And he's

like, well, I'm out. Like, he didn't want to like stick around a little bit longer. I mean,

he's stuck around a long time, right? Like 19 years. He's been there since they started

as Sony Computer Entertainment. Yeah. He was part of the team that launched the original

PlayStation. Right. Wow. Yeah. He's been around forever. He's been there for every

console launch. I think if anything, you get tired of a job or you know, you want to

go out on a high note like Seinfeld. I was just going to say that, right? That's the

one thing I always go back to. If he leaves during PlayStation three era, it's always

going to be, oh, and Sony kind of went to this rough and tumble time. And you know, they

turned it around, but they were never great or whatever. And now you get to be troubled
