I'm your host, Damon Hadfield. And joining me this week are Justin Davis and Mark Medina.

I'm here, Damon. And that's it. That's all you get this week. No, Sam. I hope you're happy YouTube commenters. You scared Sam away. Just kidding. Just kidding. Sam's traveling to see family. Sam is just fine. We've got a great show for you this week. We've got we've picked our most anticipated games that are still to come in 2025 and I think there's a lot of a lot of fun looking games still to come this year. There is the unfortunate price increases happening with Nintendo hardware, older Nintendo hardware. Not supposed to yet, but we'll get into that. But first, we're talking a lot about Donkey Kong Bonanza. I've seen the people that said they're sick of hearing about Don Kong Bonanza, so we're not going to spend a whole episode on this, but just to provide an update, I beat Donkey Kong Bananza, Justin beat it as well. Not going to spoil anything here. We're not going to get into, you know, this isn't a spoiler cast. Although I would like to talk about the final game stuff at some point in the future because I think there's some interesting things there. But once again, I love this game. I actually loved every minute of this game. Some people have said it was a little bit slow for them to get into. but no, right? I've played it almost every night since it came out and finally beat it last

night and I just had the best time with it. Without revisiting Mario Odyssey, I feel like Odyssey

still has an edge for me, but I've seen other people said that after Donkey Kong Bonanza,

they went back to Odyssey and they really miss being able to climb everything.

And I could totally see that as well.

But, Justin, what are your thoughts after having finished the story?

Yeah, I loved it.

I think it's still my Game of the Year contender.

I put it one tier below the absolute, like, goat tier best of all time platformers like i don't think it's

quite on mario odyssey's level um i think i probably put galaxy one and two up there too on like

the mount rush more of best platformers best nintendo platformers ever and like i still think this is a

game of the year contender absolutely for sure um i loved. I love the end. I think it finished strong.

As I said, I, you know, I'm going to talk about it in very general terms because we don't want

to spoil anything. But like, Nintendo's just gotten really good at, you know, kind of delivering
