I'm quietly clapping Justin Davis scoop and Colin Stevens joins us. Hey gamers. Hello everybody happy new year. Happy Scoop here. We've got a great show for you this week to kick off the new year.

This is our big 2023 preview 2023 could be one of the big ones. If everything goes according to plan and a bunch of these games don't get delayed every month has multiple big games coming out for the first half of the month except for April we'll get to that.

It's looking like this could be one of the great years it could be a 2007 it could be a 2011 it could be a 1982 we'll see if these games don't delay it should be pretty good.

We've got a great image of what the first half of the year looks like the back half of the year is still kind of a question mark there's big games are expected to come out this year that don't have a release date yet and I think there are some games coming out this year expected that you might have forgotten about and it will be fun to remind you of all those.

But first what I did on my holiday break by Damon Hatfield I played a whole heck of a lot of vampire survivors.

Not me tell you and that is a Damien ass game to play vampires survivors right yeah I played a lot of it yeah so so good calling you played it I have not I know I should but is it on switch I think it is on switch yeah okay then I'll play it it's on nobles as well it's on mobile yeah which is actually it's one of the few games that I would say would probably work pretty well and mobile.

And it's on Xbox Game Pass Sam have you checked this out yet now this is the first time I didn't see what it looks like so I think you should you should definitely check it out because it's like it's like the whole like theme is is a rip off of Castlevania and actually I'm a little bit surprised that

Konami hasn't stepped in because everything from like the holy water to the Bible to the boomerang to the acts is just everything is not straight from fine I mean sure I'm not I'm not what else you to kill vampires with I think I'd like to accept I think the

Bible is public domain you know what I mean I just like really Sam just touched on something that's pretty important which is I don't know I think you are a vampire or maybe you're

fighting vampires I don't know I play this game like different yeah you're fighting a lot of different like your skeletons go

swear wolves me do you the vampire survivor I don't know I play this game like a dozen hours and I don't know what the

lore is of like you know yeah I don't know if I'm the vampire or if all these monsters or vampires monsters sometimes in

Castlevania you are the vampire and sometimes you're not sometimes you're the vampire hunter sometimes you're

just a little girl but you're always kneeling Frankenstein's yeah Damien of you have you done the 30 minute like

reached the 30 minute time limit I reached the 30 minute and I think once you reached that like a boss shows up like

the boss yeah so the game the game sort of has a soft cap of like runs last 30 minutes and if you manage to make it 30

minutes death comes and kills you and this is a very minor spoiler you you can defeat death and keep going

but it's kind of built into the game like you build your character in a specific way and then you know

then you unlock there's another hidden character and stuff but like runs are really kind of intended to end at 30 minutes

yeah that's why I made it there and then I immediately was killed I thought I just a lot I failed in the boss

but apparently that's what you're supposed to do yeah you have to yeah you have to you have to you won't
