Summary

The Texas defense put together one of the best performances in the last decade against No. 4 ranked TCU only for the Longhorns' offense to erase any momentum, scoring just three of the Longhorns 10 points in the 17-10 loss to the Horned Frogs. Horns247's Chip Brown and Taylor Estes recap Saturday's prime-time showdown between Texas and TCU, deliver their thoughts on the struggles by the Texas offense and give much needed credit to the Longhorns' defense for the outstanding performance against one of the top offenses in college football, plus much more! Texas fans won't want to miss this week's game reaction edition of The Flagship Podcast recapping the Longhorns' loss to the Horned Frogs. And, you know, I think Texas fans are looking at Steve Sarkesian and saying,

1:53.4

we hired you because of your offensive prowess.

1:58.1

You were hired to match wits with Lincoln Riley in the Big 12. Lincoln Riley left town, leaving Steve Sarkesian as the preeminent play caller, preeminent play designer. And he did that last week against Kansas State. We talked about it. The counters, the powers, the new ways to run the football.

2:21.8

There was none of that tonight.

2:25.0

And once again, Steve Sarkesian called a game like he was down three touchdowns instead of three points.

2:37.4

And Bejohn Robinson was nowhere to be found in this game.
