Jason Schreier, to talk about episode three, The Long Night, in which our heroes finally made

their horrifying last stand at Winterfell. A note before we get started, this conversation will

discuss the events of every aired episode of the show, including this one, as well as all of the events in the books. It will not discuss any leaked spoilers, nor will it discuss the next time on preview, which neither of us even watch. Jason, this show had death, despair, and darkness. All right. Before I even get started, first of all, apologies in advance if you can hear any of the construction noise currently going on in my apartment because I live in New York and there's drilling here all the time. The whites are climbing the walls of your apartment. Yeah, yeah, it's the camera

is moving around. It's all blurry and dark. Well, let me start off on a positive note. Last week,

as you know, I said, hey, let's hope, beyond hopes, that this week's Battle for Winterfell is the end of

the Night King, the end of the good versus evil battle, the end of the zombies, and now we can

get back to the good stuff, the politics and the machinations and the human versus human

betrayals and backstabbing and going at it. And my wish was granted. So that's pretty cool.
