Friends, comrades, welcome to part two of our season 7 preview for Game of Thrones.

Part 1 we did D'Anaris, Tyri and Serse, Jamie, we focused on the south.

Now we are focusing on the north, John Sansa, Aria, Brant, the White Walkers,

the Knights King, the Brotherhood without banners.

Let's get right into it.

The last time we saw John Snow, he was declared King of the North.

The King and the North!

After taking back Winterfell from the Bolton's,

John will now lead the North against the army of the dead.

The last northerner to lead the living against the dead

was a legendary figure named Azore Ahai.

And for hundreds of years, prophecies have foretold

his return as the Prince that was promised.

In part one of our season 7 preview, we made the case for Deneris Targarian being

Azora High, the Prince that was promised.

After six seasons of conquering with fire and blood,

Danaris may end up being a red herring for the real prince that was promised.

While a strong literal case can be made for Danaris, John satisfies the prerequisites for Azora High as well in a more

metaphorical sense. According to the prophecy these are the indicators of the coming of

Azora High. After years of speculation, literally decades, it was revealed that John Snow's true parents

are Leona Stark and Regard Targarian.
