It's the Game of Roses! Welcome to the Game of Roses!

0:14.5

Welcome to Game of Roses! This is Bachelor Clues and today I have prepared something very special for you.

0:23.6

As I'm sure you all know, Pace Case and I have invented a language that we use to speak about our

0:31.6

beloved game. It contains a lot of acronyms, a lot of initializations, a lot of special phrases and

0:38.1

words that we use to describe not only the players and the plays, but events that recur every

0:44.7

season in the game, the things that really define it. And this is no different than any other

0:49.6

professional sport. Baseball has its own language, football has its own language, and so now we have

0:55.2

our own language. And as a new listener, it may be difficult to understand some of the things

1:00.9

help illuminate some new listeners. And I hope you enjoy it. This list, by the way, is ever

1:34.1

increasing. So I'm sure there will be another one of these episodes in about a year. But until then,

1:39.7

I hope you enjoy the Gore lexicon. First term, 40RR. That's the number four, the letter T, the

1:50.2

letter R, the letter R. And it stands for four, the right reasons, the alternative of that,

1:57.7

obviously being 40WR for the wrong reasons. This phrase describes the primary structural

2:05.4

rule of the game that a player is only participating in this game to find love and any monetary gain,

2:12.8

increase in Instagram followers, fame, any kind of secondary gains that they receive from being

2:19.3

on the show is purely incidental. This is the fundamental rule of the game. Producers can't break it,

2:24.5

players can't break it. Not even the leads can break it. And as long as a player's conveying 40RR,
