And, of course, the big trade we were all waiting for has finally happened.

Desmond Bain, now a member of the Orlando Magic initial reaction swiping when you heard the news.

Well, I think everybody's, you know, initial surprise was that a trade got done period at this time of

year, especially at one of this magnitude. You know, Desmond Bain, obviously, he has been a

stalwart, I think would be the answer for what the Memphis gridsliesies are organizationally.

You know, he's been an adult in the room. He's been a really good player,

All-Star caliber player, somebody that does a lot of really good things for the team.

You know, I think that, like, I was just more shocked that the nature of the trade, I definitely will get into the details here. I definitely understand from Orlando's side what they're looking at, when they're

looking at Desmond Bain, how they feel like he would help their team. But then I saw they got back

KCP Cole Anthony. You know, that initial part, I was like, huh, you know, salary fillers. Obviously,

Casey still had potentially to be a good player. But then you see four unprotected,

unprotected first round picks and one pick slop. So I think that's where a lot of people

had a little bit of like pause about the deal. They're like, that's an awful lot of picks for
