Well, Alan, you lose in Pittsburgh in a game in which you were the better team, except for a minute and 48 seconds, would you give up three goals? This is an important bounce-back win in Philadelphia. Well, the Caps did a great job of scoring first tonight, and then when they did get scored on, they bounced back right away. So learn from their mistakes in Pittsburgh. It was tough there. The fans really got behind it, but they really came back and excelled really in every area of the game tonight.

Yeah, I mean, Brett, he's going to have some decisions to make this summer. He has played well enough that he's going to give himself some options. Sure, the caps would love to have him back, but there'll be money out there for him this summer. You get 20-plus goals and 20-plus assists and hit the open market. You're going to be a popular guy. So, you know, he's found a home here, but tonight kind of epitomized the season he's put together. Hashtag contract year, and that's a good thing for Brett Connolly right now. Ryan Billy, Tom Wilson is now there with his first career 20-goal season. I feel like we called it at the pregame show. Did we call it? Did we call it?

We sort of portended to it. Okay. I feel like. Sure. Yeah. No. Tom Wilson, another 20. We just

keep knocking them off. Every night somebody else is hitting another milestone. Tom Wilson's turn

tonight. I'm glad he stayed on the ice to do it because I thought that hit that he took early was going to be a problem. But Russian machine may never break. I don't know if there's a corollary. The Toronto machine never break. There's a lot of those, I guess. Yeah, I guess. Only one machine. Yeah, that's true. He did go down once. But he comes back and he gets his first

Alan, we just kind of touched on some of the bigger storylines from this game.

What jumps out at you most about this 5-2 win?

It could be an individual effort or the overall team effort.

I think the overall team effort of everyone, all four lines I like to, like the play of all three defense pairings. Braden Holpey was solid and net, penalty kill being big the way it was. And then when you look at the line that got them on the board tonight with three goals, Eller with a goal, Connolly with a pair, but all three guys on that line were very significant in this game, but I like the two-way game of all Capitals players today.

That third line, McNally, you know, whoever seems to have dropped to that line or moved up

to that line, whoever, Berkey was really effective there, Haglin, Haglin's just a true pro. And you could really put him anywhere, I feel like. And he'd do well because he plays the game the right way. But that is instant chemistry for those guys. And Connolly's game has gone up. Lars has three goals and four games. And Hagland's Hagglin. They've done this quickly.

A lot of what happened on that seven-game win streak was due to the third line playing well. I mean,

contributing, not just relying on the stars. You know, Conley himself mentioned Burakowski was there for, you know, three or four of those wins and contributing.
