Summary

The Nats lost to the Braves 7-6 in a seesaw affair that last ten innings. Mark & Al note how in their final game against one of the NL East contenders for the season; the Nationals continued to be a tough team to put away.  (4:10) Luis Garcia has had a hot September and Thursday night was probably his best game yet. Garcia crushed a go ahead HR to dead-center and made multiple highlight reel plays in the field. Is he turning a corner? (11:50) Juan Soto had two hits and was intentionally walked twice. His stats continue to be eye popping as his on base percentage is now above .450. Atlanta gave a free pass to Soto in the 9th, despite him representing the winning run. (18:29) Erick Fedde lasted six innings, but did allow three solo homers. Listen for the unusual criticism that Davey Martinez had for Fedde in terms of pitch selection. Is Fedde in danger of being non tendered this offseason? (29:15) Keibert Ruiz was 0 for 5 and so far only has three hits since being called up last week. Was Davey Martinez also criticizing him when he called out Fedde for not following the gameplan?
