Well, if you are a Nationals fan still invested in the outcomes of these games, our deepest condolences to you, because the losing does continue. And 8-4 loss at the Atlanta Braves on Friday night in game one of a three-game series, game one of a six-game road trip. The Nats now have lost five straight. The Nats now are nine and 23 since the start of July. The Nats now a season worst, 12 games below 500 at 49 and 61. You know, I was thinking about the five-game losing streak. Every game, it feels like, has more or less the same score, and all of these games pretty much have had a similar theme. The Nats don't

pitch well, the Nats don't field well, or at the very least have like a costly defensive mistake or two, and the Nats don't hit well enough to make up for these things. And I suppose this is what you get when you trade away eight players for 12 prospects. That remains 100% the right

way to have gone, but there's a cost associated with that. And we're seeing that cost here

over this recent stretch. So let me get the straight out. You're saying the Nats right now,

we're not pitching well, hitting well, or playing defense well. Not particularly, no.
