I have a hard time finding optimism lately. You're one of the few places I turn when I'm feeling really down

So I ran for president on a very optimistic idea of universal base income

But it was built on a very negative cheese, which is oh by the way a eyes coming and it's gonna last away

Like a ton of jobs and we already did it to those guys are gonna do it to you too eventually

So that there's like a real

You know juxtaposition or it's like and the other thing is someone said to me

It's like hey Yang you can present some very distressing shit in a matter of fact way that doesn't make me you know super sad

And I'm like oh good. Well, you know this is so

The situation right now is

awful

our political landscape

Terrible like generationally bad

And so it's not like I'm unmindful of these things

I mean that the fact is if I thought that things were going to go well

I would be doing something else

Right, I mean like so I'm very cognizant of just how knee deep and shit we are and the and the shits

You know threatening to go well above knee level

Right, but but now I'm in a position where maybe I can help maybe I can contribute something positive

I see a path and it does consist of what you're describing with this look politically homeless
