Welcome to our Monday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

Today is my 5th, the start of my 5th and final week of teaching verse by verse through the book of Galatians.

I think this teaching through the book of Galatians has been powerful.

We're now up to Galatians chapter 5, verse 22.

And this is where I start talking about the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

But let me put it in context because I know that most people have slipped since last Friday's program.

Let me go back and read Galatians 5, 16.

He says, this I say then walk in the Spirit and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

So the key to the Christian life isn't trying to get rid of the flesh and then the Spirit will come.

It says you walk in the Spirit and then you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

I use the example of you don't turn off the dark in a room.

You turn on the light and the darkness flees.
