Welcome to our Thursday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

I'm just about at the end of my fourth week of teaching, verse by verse, through the book of Galatians.

We're now in Galatians chapter 5, verse 16.

And so I've still got a ways to go.

I'm going to have to go into this to finish it.

I'll have to go into the next week's teaching at least.

I do want to remind you that we're offering my living commentary,

I've got a footnote on every verse in Galatians, I believe.

And then we're also offering an updated teaching.

It's been about 20 years since I taught verse by verse through the book of Galatians.

So yesterday I was teaching from Galatians chapter 5, verse 16.

It says, I say then, walk in the spirit and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

And I was talking about that walking in the spirit is talking about walking in the Word

because John 6.63 says it's the spirit that quickens the flesh profits nothing.

The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life.
