On Sunday mornings, if you're visiting with us here today, we are going through the Bible,

really book by book, chapter by chapter and verse by verse.

On Sunday mornings, we're in the New Testament.

We finished 2 Corinthians, and the next book was the book of Galatians, and that's where we're at today.

You see the text there on the screen,

chapter 2 verses 13 and 14 will be our text, only two verses today. I think you'll see why

here in a moment. And then after the study in Galatians, we do our weekly Bible prophecy updates.

So let's get started. And then today, of course,

being the first Sunday of the month, is Communion Sunday. We partake together of the Lord's

table. So if you're exhausted thinking about all that, don't worry. We'll be out of here by

three o'clock this afternoon. And second

service can join us as well. All right. So, once you stand, if you're able, if not, that's

all right. You can follow along as I read. Again, Galatians chapter 2, verses 13 and 14, the Apostle Paul is by the spirit writing to these churches there in Galatia.

And he says verse 13, the other Jews joined him, speaking of Peter, in his hypocrisy, so that by their hypocrisy, even Barnabas

was led astray. When I saw that they were not acting in line with the truth of the gospel,

I said to Seppis, Peter, in front of them all, you are a Jew, yet you live like a

Gentile and not like a Jew. How is it then that you force Gentiles to follow Jewish customs,

or if you prefer Jewish law.

Let's pray, and we'll ask God's blessing on our understanding.

Father in heaven, we need for you at this time to very simply center us and enable us to focus our attention on you and your word and that which you have for us here in your word today. We need for you to speak into our

lives. And Lord, when you do, we need you to speak very clearly so that we can receive from you as you minister to us we pray in Jesus name amen you can be seated
