But boy, is that a lot of stories over the years about Matt Whitman's complicated relationship with Colorado professional sports.

And to that, I would say, that is a very fair point.

You're not wrong.

I'm not going to argue with you.

And I completely understand your feelings.

Also, here's another story about my complicated relationship with Colorado sports.

It was 2005. I was living in Las Vegas. And I had a wedding that day. They had a wedding for two

dear friends who are still married, by the way, which is great. It's hard to think of a reason

to ever talk about weddings and success rates with weddings. But it's one of the things that

really matters to me about what I've done over the course

of my life or really, really care about that stuff.

And it thrills me that Kevin and Liz are doing well all these years later.

That was a great wedding.

It was a beautiful day.

And so we got done with the wedding.

I came home and the Denver Broncos had a playoff game.

So I watched them play the New England Patriots and a young Tom Brady. If you don't

know who they are, they've been very good for a very, very long time. The Patriots were driving

down the field. It looked like they were going to win, going to score an important touchdown.
