Hello and welcome to Bible Stories. We are your hosts, Matt Mullins. Hello. Hey, Matt. My name is Todd and we're both buddies from Ministers from

Ministers. We're two friends and my goodness. We also love sharing the stories of the Bible with you and guess what? It's Christmas season and so we're going to share a little bit from Luke today. Luke Chapter 1. Isn't that right, brother Matt? That's right, brother Todd. A little bit of insight. So several days ago, I began preparing for this and I kind of forgot that it's Christmas. Is that terrible? Because the story that I work with

is one where a lot of people pass away after being sorted, sorted. I'm trying to like not be gruesome. So what are you saying? What's going on here? So it's Christmas, everybody. I had a story where a lot of people got stabbed to death and then I thought, you know what? You know what, little Matt, why don't you try something else?

There's this whole theme around Christmas. Maybe if there's something there, maybe there's something there we can talk about. Who knows this though?

Well, I'm so excited that I realize it is Christmas. I can't wait to hear a little bit about what your family's doing for Christmas. I know we've been, I know, probably three different Christmas displays, like light displays with Addy. She just eats it up.

The Hamons out on the town for Christmas. Oh my goodness. Well, yeah, so our church had a Christmas tree lighting this past weekend. That was fun. We had fake snow in the air. They were hanging on high above a tall a frame ladder. Those were some really nice snow machines. And so that was exciting. We've seen some decorations on houses.

And I may or may not have had a couple glasses of eggnog, non-alcoholic, of course, but that's been good. So that's where we're at. What are we doing for Christmas? I, you know, I haven't, I got to ask the wife. Well, we'll see what she says. So I didn't know you were a nog man. But Matt, guess what? For us as ministers and we're excited about it. We're not upset. This is a great thing. We get to work on Christmas Day this year.

It's, it's a delicate thing, isn't it? It's a yeah. We're going to be doing Christmas, not on Christmas this year, I think, with Addy. Just because like I also really careful. And you have, you know, mom, you know this, if you're listening, if you're new, Todd is a part of an incredible legacy in his family. His dad was a minister for a long time.

Faithful, faithful, faithful, really known in the community and just a mentor to a lot of people and, of course, to Todd in any way. So he's been, you know, your, your life. Like you've, you've had way more experience in ministry than me. But I've been trying to be careful. Like when we go to church, we're going to church. When dad goes to the office Monday through Thursday, he's going to work. And when I'm leaving her behind.

You know, dad's not going. So she doesn't grow, you know, as a little kids hard to understand. So just trying to like, you know, be really careful through that. We're still trying exactly for you that out. Like why is dad leaving me on Christmas. So I think we're probably going to end up doing Christmas a little earlier. I think.

Celebrate on the 23rd, maybe probably because we're going to fly on the 25th as well. Yeah. Now where are you going again? Going to Branson. We are going to my family in Florida.

Gosh, you're stomping grounds.

You know, I've stomped so much on the grounds of Florida.

Yeah, you really let your emotions show. That's one thing I know about you. Tipper Tanson floor. So true.

Have we ever spent a Christmas in the same state?

Oh my goodness. It feels like we flip flop, you know, which is also what you'll be wearing in Florida flip flops.

So now Matt, back to a egg nog. Are you an egg nog fan? I'm not a nog boy. Yeah. No noggin, huh?

My wife is, she calls it Christmas milk and gives it to my daughter and she loves it.

Christmas milk.

That doesn't sound appealing, but it's great.

What animal does Christmas milk come from? I just drink it. Just drink it.
