For those of you unfamiliar with Gabon, it's in Central Africa, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean

to the west, Cameroon to the north, Equatorial Guinea to the northwest,

and the Democratic Republic of Congo to the south and east.

Located directly on the equator, Gabon has an equator equator,

Gabon has an equatorial climate characterized by high temperatures, heavy humidity, and nearly

year-round rainfall.

It has a total area of 257,670 square kilometers, or 99,487 square miles, making it

slightly smaller than New Zealand and slightly larger than the United Kingdom in size.
