Summary

Today’s word of the day is ‘consistency’ as in it’s Memorial Day as in Gabe Kapler put a pause on his protest to come out for the National Anthem just for this holiday. But then he is going to go back inside for the anthem. Gabe Kapler released an emotional letter the days prior as to why he is choosing to stay in the clubhouse when the anthem plays. Kapler doesn’t like what’s going on in the country right now. (14:00) Tommy Pham slapped Joc Pederson over fantasy football. In all my years of baseball I have never seen a story this ridiculous. Pham was suspended for three games. Just ridiculous. (26:20) Review: Ricky Gervais - Super Nature. (31:35) What happened at the Champions League Final this weekend was a disgrace. Liverpool fans were pepper sprayed trying to get into the stadium. Fans were funneled into one entrance. The game was delayed a full 30 minutes. Disgrace. (38:00) NPPOD. (41:25) The Philadelphia Phillies are horrible. They blow saves. They can’t field. 4th highest payroll in baseball. Joe Girardi is still there. What is happening? Consistency. Nothing personal word of the day. It is Tuesday, May 31st, 2022. Hope everybody had a good memorial day

weekend. Memorial day weekend. The weekend where summer is supposed to start if you're in the

0:35.9

Northeast. I grew up in the Northeast and Memorial day was always the beginning of summer

0:40.7

book ended with Labor Day. Then I moved to Florida and people don't even know when Memorial

0:45.5

Day is because it makes no difference. It's hot and wet. That's Adrian Crackauer right there.

Do you know there is a station called Not NPR. It's a classical music station and I was with

0:59.5

my mother this weekend and she was playing this classical music station and they were playing

1:04.5

actual radio broadcasts from Vietnam like Good Morning Vietnam. Adrian Crackauer Robin Williams

1:12.9

and it was fascinating to listen to only for a few minutes I listened to it when I was in the house on the

1:18.9

way to dinner. But anyway, so they were doing that I assume because of Memorial Day. And in the

1:25.6

Northeast you get excited and normally the weather stinks this weekend the weather was great.

1:29.5

Koka is burnt to a crisp you can't see him. I unfortunately got burnt because you can always tell

1:35.0

when you miss places. So I love the the spray that they invented for sunscreen because it just

1:41.1

makes it easier to sunscreen kids and the sunscreen yourself. But on the other hand, you clearly

1:46.1

don't get full coverage as opposed to lotion where you always say, Hey, am I, did I rub it in?

1:51.6

Right. You don't say that when you use a spray and therefore you don't find out until after what

1:57.1

spots you missed. So I look like a blotchy mess. But Memorial Day is a weekend that represents time

2:03.9

with friends and family and partying and barbecues. But it's not supposed to be that. It's supposed

2:09.8

to be a holiday where you reflect on the deaths of servicemen where you think about veterans. I

2:16.4

sense a tweak Koka about veterans and how we should be thanking them not just today but every day

2:22.1

and just take a minute and just randomly like in the airport when they get to board first just say,
