Hey, everybody. It's Jay from The Bodies Behind the Bus podcast. You may not know, but we launched a Giving Tuesday campaign last month with the goal of raising $36,000 or $3,000 a month of new giving in 2025.

The hope would be we would use those funds toward bringing on a podcast manager as well as a part-time

editor to help us continue the work of producing high-quality stories as well as resources

for our audience. We're not near that goal yet, but we did receive some donations and want to

Today we are honored to bring you Gabby's story. Gabby attended Fusion, which is a part of Spurgeon College.

Fusion is partnered with the SBC's International Mission, which is a part of Spurgeon College. Fusion is partnered with the

SBC's International Mission Board and is a program specifically for young adults with a desire

to be sent out onto the mission field. Gabby was one of those young adults. Her hopes, goals,

and dreams were wrapped up in her desire to share Jesus with the world.

But instead of leaving Fusion feeling empowered, she left feeling like a shell of who she once was.

It was a privilege to meet Gabby, to witness her resilient spirit, to hear her impactful words, and to sit with the weight of her experience.
