Summary

Election officials in Georgia have completely debunked President Donald Trump's election conspiracy theories. On Monday, Georgia's secretary of state, Brad Raffensperger, said that "everybody's vote did count;" after Trump made a call to him demanding that his team find the votes to overturn the election which he lost to President-elect Joe Biden.  In an audio first reported by The Washington Post and obtained by CNN, in a one-hour phone call, Trump is heard pressuring the Secretary of State to quote "find" votes. Raffensperger, however, rebuffed Trump's demands.  President-elect Joe Biden is stumping for votes for the two Democratic challengers in Tuesday's Senate runoff election. The election will determine which party controls the U.S. Senate. Biden made his closing argument for the Democrats at a campaign event Monday in Atlanta. He said in part, electing Jon Ossoff and Reverend Raphael Warnock could lead to $2,000 stimulus checks.  The number of people dying from Coronavirus is rising in the United States. More than 350,000 people have lost their lives, and there are now more than 20.7 million cases in the states. According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, almost 15.5 million doses of the vaccine have been distributed and 4.5 million people have been immunized.  To learn more about how CNN protects listener privacy, visit cnn.com/privacy Learn more about your ad choices.
