Hello, I'd got quite used to the idea

of kind of the big blockbuster Christmas advert

for the supermarket.

What I'm struggling to come to terms with

is the spam email asking you to click on a preview

of the advert before it even comes out.

To me, that is new and potentially going too far

with the whole phenomenon.

But the Christmas advert juggernaut continues nonetheless,

irrespective of my views, Asda have gone very big budget

and they've bought in Will Farrell as Buddy the Elf from Elf.
