I know they've got some ventures that they're sort of starting up.

I wanted to give them an opportunity to kind of talk about those.

But they had basically planned the exact podcast that I wanted to do a first-year-player mock draft.

And so instead, we're pivoting to possibly the first-ever first-year-player auction.

I don't know if there had been other first-year-player mock auctions before, but this very well could be the first.

So first of all, I just want to say, thanks for taking the time to join me, Jesse, Eric, and Chris. How are you guys doing? Great. Thanks for having us, man. Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. It's going to be a good time. I will say, like, this is something that I want in the Dynasty League. Like, I would love a Dynasty League where, you know, it's like the MLB draft where

the worst teams get a bigger bonus pool and you have an auction type draft. I think it'd be

awesome. You know what? I've actually been preparing these exact rules for months now.

It may be part of the second Highlander Dynasty Invitational League that I assume we'll be

trying to start up in the next month or two.

Yeah, but it's kind of complicated to try and work it with bonus pools and allowing teams the ability to trade future assets the same time because with

bonus pools you kind of have to lock it a little bit but you know if you have a poacher draft which

we have in the other highlander league which would probably be in the new league as well and other

ways in which to trade future future picks while also making sure the leagues engage in a first year player draft on its own.

I think it could be a little fun wrinkle, and I love the idea, and I'm really excited to see how it goes right tonight.
