Welcome to the OnLabs podcast. Our special guest today is the one and only Andy Williams. Andy, dude, I saw you over the summer in London. You gave a, I think you gave two talks that weekend, right? You gave two talks on fine that weekend. Yeah, absolutely. It's been super busy.

I probably couldn't remember exactly where I've been speaking when.

But yeah, it was super great to see you.

I appreciate you coming to my talk and giving a bit of feedback.

The gopher con seems like it's been some time ago.

Now there's been a few things between.

And also, if I look a little bit tired, I'm fresh off the back of our trip to Berlin for

FeinConf, which ran all day last Friday.

So I'm still recovering, but at the same time, pretty jazzed with the feedback from everybody

that was there experiencing just a great community and that kind of momentum that you get off the back of a face-to-face event.

Okay, I have a question about that, but just what I want you to do is give me the two-minute spiel

on what you're doing today because I'm not sure everybody has heard about this really cool Go project

that you're working on fine. And I'd like everybody hear that first before I ask my question.

Yeah, absolutely.

I don't know if it'll take two minutes, but what we're doing is just trying to create a

project that makes it super simple for anybody to build graphical apps that are going to

work across all different devices.

That's pretty much the background to the entire project.

It's something

that I'd been thinking about for a number of years. Software development seems to be too tough.

Different systems seem to diverge and the folk that maintain ecosystem love to have their edge.

But for developers and end users, like we should be actually bringing things together,
