Yeah, I was, so you were my driver at Chaparral Yamaha, and you were really insistent on keeping the truck clean. And I don't know, I must have left my cell phone somewhere. It was the day of the Nokia thing, and you just threw in the garbage. Yeah. Was there a bunch of stuff? There had to have been a bunch of stuff on the counter then maybe. I don't know. I mean, I wasn't the cleanest mechanic, if you remember. Yeah, I know.

But, yeah, news for you, a new role.

You gave up driving for 2026.

I guess before we talk about what you're going to do, did you know you were over it?

Did you tell Dan and Bruce and everybody that this was your last year? Did something happen on the road to make you be like, this is it for me? Like what made you decide to hang up the steering wheel, hang up the gas pedal? I don't know. Hang up the Christmas tree air freshener Christmas tree air freshener? Yeah, turn in the fuel card.

Yeah, yeah, that's it.

Yeah, yeah, that's it.

What was your decision behind it? Basically, I just, yeah, it's something I've been thinking about probably the past five to six years. Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah. and just, you know, my kids were in high school, so I wanted to get them through and kind of wanted to get them through maybe college.

And I just wanted to, I don't know, slow down a little bit, you know.

And I wanted to have basically weekends off, you know, where I could.

And I was looking at other motorsports. And I had been telling Dan, you know, where I could. And I was looking in other motorsports.

And I've been telling Dan, you know, I'm just not so much taking it year by year,

but, you know, I'm just, I'm hanging in there, you know.

So, so, but if something were to come up that, you know, I liked or was interested in,

I was going to, I wouldn't leave this place hanging, but I would probably move.
