So I'm super excited to talk to you today because you have this big cover story out on AZ Fudd.

Do you remember when you first heard the name AZ Fud?

It was around the time that she was named as Gatorade's National Player of the Year in 2019,

and I was asked to do a write-up of this high schooler that was being surprised by

Elena Deladon after chemistry class. And so I got to call her and talk to her for the very first time.

She did not remember that. But I did. It sort of stuck with me.

and her fellow phenom and future Yukon teammate, Paige Beckers,

as Fudd picks up her basketball career, where her mom's left off.
