All right, everybody, welcome back to another edition of The Teardown. My name is Jeff Fluck,

and I'm along with my co-worker

Jordan Bianchi. We are motorsports writers here at The Athletic, and today we have a little bit

of a different type of podcast for you, because we're going to talk about our jobs, a little bit

of a in the weeds thing, I guess, compared to some of the preseason

and offseason content we've been doing, but try to mix it up a little bit here and talk

about what we think is the future of how our roles will be.

But first of all, Jordan, you are at the racetrack right now.

How's it going in Daytona?

Speaking of our jobs, it feels very weird to be back at a racetrack.

It's been a little while to actually be able to walk around a track and kind of observe everything.

And it also is kind of the kickoff to the season.

I know we talked about that with the chili bowl. And, you know, you start with the chili bowl in mid-January and you go right into Rolex and

this truly does feel like the racing season is upon us. And it's great. I mean, it's the Rolex is always

a fun event. Cars on the racetrack, a lot of different kind of cars, style cars, sound, sites,

always an experience that I enjoy.

So tell us, I mean, you obviously covered the Rolex last year as well.

And obviously this is not, you're not there at the Rolex yet.

This is the Roar where they do their sort of warm-up practice sessions before they get to the

Rolex this upcoming weekend.

But, you know, what's it like there?

What are some of the differences in some of the restrictions and things you can do there
