One of the most frustrating things about the issue is there isn't really a place for people

who don't fit all the way on one side or all the way on the other side.

And I find myself very much caught in between. I want Jesus to walk with me.

Christy Berkhoff grew up thinking that abortion providers were murderers.

She devoted herself to banning the procedure.

I was very involved in Right to Life.

I was part of the marches.

That fight took Christy to Washington, D.C.,

but what she learned there basically made her abandon the anti-abortion cause altogether.

I was starting to think, you know, oh my goodness, we might actually not be doing the thing we say we're doing.

We might actually be promoting policies that are leading to abortion.
