Welcome to 95 Mac Daily for Monday, November 10th, 2025. I'm your host, Chance Miller. We are

0:09.5

sponsored this week by Backblaze. Leading off today, Bloomberg has a new key detail on the launch of

0:15.6

the redesigned MacBook Pro model slated to launch between late 2026 and early 2027.

0:22.7

Apple is largely expected to redesign the MacBook Pro for the first time since 2021, with an OLED

0:28.8

touchscreen, a smaller, thinner design, potentially 5G cellular connectivity, and even a dynamic

0:36.5

island instead of a notch. But in terms of how far that

0:40.2

design will actually stretch through the MacBook Pro lineup, it turns out you might have to spend

0:45.1

a little bit more. As it stands today, Apple offers three different quote-unquote flavors of the

MacBook Pro. There's a base 14-inch model powered by the M5 chip, a higher-end 14-inch

0:58.0

model with the M4 Pro and M4 Max chips, and a 16-inch model with the pro and the max chips. That

1:05.4

entry-level MacBook Pro is $400 less than the M-4 Pro model, offering a value for people who want other pro features like the display,

1:14.7

but who don't need that top-of-the-line performance.

1:18.0

When Apple rolls out this new MacBook Pro design, either late next year or early 2027,

1:23.4

Bloomberg says that it won't come to that base model cheapest MacBook Pro. That model will retain

1:29.2

the current MacBook Pro design indefinitely, while the higher-end models will transition to that

1:34.6

newer design, again with a thinner body, OLED, and touchscreen support. This ultimately shouldn't

1:40.9

come as a big surprise as Apple's focus with that cheaper MacBook

1:44.3

Pro model is to keep the price as low as possible.

1:47.9

But at least now we have solid reporting on Bloomberg that that is indeed the case.

1:53.2

In other news today, a few weeks ago, we talked about a bit of a shakeup among Apple's

1:57.7

health and services teams.

1:59.8

At the time, we explained that Apple is moving its health and fitness teams under
