Just one more quick petition to the Lord.

Father, keep us awake at this nap time, I pray, and grant our minds to be energized with the glory of your word and your spirit and your son.

Guide me, guide our minds together.

We want to really get practical in this session and see how this works.

And so, Lord, show us from your word, I pray.

I pray that one of the effects of this afternoon hour would be triumph over sin,

where people have been falling again and again in various temptations.

We want to be victorious people over sin.

We want our lives to shine with the light of Christ.

Be holy, be loving, be kind, be bold and courageous.

Oh, Lord, we want people to see Christ in us and not stumble so many times.

So take us on another step forward in holiness, I pray, because of what you reveal to us from your

word now.

I pray in Jesus' name.

Amen.

We are on point number six or seven, I believe.

It doesn't matter whether you got the numbers right or not.

All of this is intended to unpack what I mean by living by faith in future grace,

which is the life that I believe will accomplish three things.

It will magnify the supremacy of God in your life.

It will satisfy you with joy in God, and it will result

in holiness so that people can see Christ in you.
