The UK climate is not famously attractive.

Gale force winds, thunderstorms, frost and floods are just some of the weather systems that our little islands can expect to confront in any given year.

And yet up and down the country, plants native to tropical rainforests and dangerously dry deserts are happily growing in size and popularity.

So how have we managed this? Well by growing indoors of course.
