Swords are out today.

Come on, Hannah. Hannah's got a picture of Cornelius in her Bible. I do. I do. I don't know how accurate it is. Doesn't look quite accurate. He's got like a line up. He's got a 2002 Starbucks. Where did you get that Bible? What's the story there? I got it when I went to Kenya, actually. Like, maybe 15 years ago. I don't have a good story around it other than I wanted a new Bible to take to Kenya, and I bought it for myself. Nice. But, yeah. Come on. Is that your everyday Bible? It is. It is falling apart. Everyday use sword. Every time I take it out somewhere, I like drop little pieces of the cover.

You need to get a real leather.

I'll clean the table. Yeah. Yeah. I need to get it rebound. We're going to do a love offering to get Hannah a new Bible. Yeah. Well, I want to keep the Bible. Just like a new Bible. A rebound. A rebound. I've thought about repinding my Bibles, but I don't really know how that works.

They're great.

There's a company, I forget this name, but you can send your Bible in, get it rebound, nice leather. Yeah, I've done it as gift for people. There you go. There you go. I'm going to need the link. Good to know. Talks about Cornelius today. Yeah, great sermon. Had a lot of ground to cover. Yeah. Well, you probably would start the

section in chapter 9. 40 something with the story of Dorcas and Tabitha. And then you would go

through chapter 11, like verse 20 when Peter goes and reports back to the church in Jerusalem.

Right, right. And I was like, should I read all of that? to the church in Jerusalem. Right, right.

And I was like, should I read all of that? That's a bad idea. Two chapters worth. Chapter 10 is long in itself. Right. Yeah. Yeah. Really cool moment. I mean, just it's cool. Again, you pointed out at the beginning of the sermon. This is like a hinge moment in the book of Acts. This is this moment where the gospel is going to break the cultural boundaries and it's going to step into the Gentile world in this really powerful moment in the middle of a really

powerful gospel presentation. There was obviously a lot of like cultural scripts as like this only phrase I know to call it going on in the background.

So you got to cover a little bit of the clean and unclean in the Old Testament.

Yeah, which is always confusing when you're not familiar with that world.

Yeah.

You know, been so great about, like, helping you see the through line of the book and, like, why it's there and stuff.

So in some ways, I felt bad that he didn't get to preach it because I think he really wanted to do this one.

But he's really helped me see this passage is like handing the baton between Peter and Paul
