0:22.3	Trump has gone after elite university, after elite university and Harvard, Columbia, and others
0:27.7	have caved to him, have given him what he wanted. Columbia University paid him $200 million,
0:35.0	decided to revamp and agree to not adhere to any kind of diversity program.
0:41.3	Harvard paid Trump half a billion dollars and again also agreed to remake their educational
0:48.6	programs. Well, then Trump decided to focus on California. He decides to go after them for $1 billion.
0:57.7	Now, according to the New York Times, the whole idea of the universities, even paying Trump
1:03.3	was something he thought of himself, that the settlement talks with Columbia didn't include
1:09.5	a payment.
1:10.2	It just had to do with remaking the school
1:12.8	programs to Trump's liking, but Trump decided he wanted a payment. And the amount of the
1:18.6	payments he has asked for with these different universities are just numbers that he decides.
1:24.8	They make no actual sense. UCLA has a far smaller endowment than Harvard,
1:31.3	for example, but instead of a half a billion dollars, he's asking UCLA to pay $1 billion,
1:39.4	most likely because he doesn't like Governor Gavin Newsom. All of this paint like clearly illegal.
1:47.7	But the other universities didn't fight Trump in court. Governor Gavin Newsom says he plans on fighting
