Hello, my name is John Elliott. I live in District 1 in the outer Richmond,

and I'd like to sing a song on behalf of the dwindling community of musicians in San Francisco

and the 50% of San Francisco's who rent their homes and do not own a car.

Keep it car-free so the kids can play car-free to scoot and skate and ride car-free

so we all can have a place to safely move outside.

Car-free for 100 years, car-free for 100 more for you and me, for them and they,

so everyone can get from A to B.

From JFK to the Great Highway, keep it car-free.

People are going to drive cars next. Wow. So speaking of La La Land, this should relate to you,

next time you're home.

Wherever you are, they're going to come up with a government program to fix the ills of your city.

They regularly fail government programs regularly.

But I'm sure in total more often than not, they fail, but you almost never hear the results of any government program

because nobody follows up on them. Thank goodness the San Francisco Chronicle followed up on a very expensive homeless program.

Sorry to slow you down, but yeah, the question of, is this program working is almost never even asked?

Right. Right. They keep voting for bigger government.
