all right everybody should be in great spirits.

I hope you are.

I hope you're doing well out there.

I saw where a couple people during the break wanted to know,

are we going to see something, some semblance of a decent return?

Something happened with, I don't know, Carol.

I don't know that I'd get my hopes up.

You guys are warriors.

I love the way that one week to the next, you get

mountains of evidence that some things are the way that they are. And yet, and I mean this as a

compliment, yet, it's on these War chant TV chats and during the show and on Twitter

and throughout the week that I've realized, hope does indeed spring eternal.

Are you patronizing these people? I am not. I admire it. I'm not so jaded as to say I'm

incapable of that. There are times where I am capable of that. I am very pragmatic when it comes to Florida State football.

I can recognize in myself that feeling of want, hope, wishing, as opposed to belief.

And some of the overwhelming pieces of evidence have struck me pretty hard this year.

You know, I told you last week's game, the win against Syracuse kind of alerted me to what was not possible.

And so I took that win, celebrated that win, because it's great to do so.

And you should.

You get a little win like that.
