doing cool things in Japan and in this episode I'm joined by a veteran of Japan and my very

good friend Andy Andy how the devil are you so you find

cool people to talk about cool things however this week.

How are you?

You know, it's, I think it's safe to say the 2020 is now the crappiest year of everybody's life no matter how old or young you are.

It's just it's a year that I am looking forward to writing off already.

So with that in mind, let's have fun. I kind of feel like you know there

should have been another scene in Back to the future where a doc says to Marty

Marty whatever you do don't set this to 2020.

Right, you know, it's just like the worst year.

But we're keeping our chins up and keeping our stiff upper lips as we do in Japan and the UK. So I thought it would be fun to do another fun Friday and check in with Andy and check in with you lovely learn Japanese pod listeners and I hope all of

you are safe and well and not going completely nuts during the coronavirus lockdown. I think Andy and I have

tales of going crazy here in Japan which we'll talk about a bit later but in

today's podcast I thought Andy and I could talk about what's been going on in our lives,

also our take on the coronavirus situation here in Japan.

Plus, I'm sure we're going to go off track, go off on some meandering tangent and talk about whatever

random stuff happens to flow into our brains.
