We who live or have lived with the seemingly helpless problem of addiction,

understand as perhaps a few others can. So much depends on our own attitudes and we believe that

changed attitudes can aid recovery.

Today we're going to talk about fun.

Think about how you used to have fun, maybe when you were a kid,

think about how that changed as you grew up and how being

involved in an alcoholic family or relationship may have changed the way in

which you have fun and then how has recovery again changed the

way you think about fun and the kind of fun that you have and what you think is

necessary to have fun.

Before we begin, we would like to state that though we at the recovery show may be in a 12-step

program, we represent ourselves rather than the program. During this show we will share our own experiences as they

relate to the topic of fun. The opinions expressed here are strictly those as a
