I'm your host Kyle Ayers. This is the podcast where comedians rewrite famous movies and TV shows they've never seen before, and we read their scripts. Happy Halloween or Halloween Eve. We've got a brand new guest. Fumi Abe is here. He has never seen Nightmare on Elm Street, but he rewrote it, and we read his script, and this is so fun.

We have such an interesting talk with Fumi about, well, he doesn't watch a lot of horror or scary movies,

and it's just such a good, similar to talking to Amy about it last week.

Because... Cut. No. I thought it was called like Freddy something. Yeah, yeah. I didn't know it was Nightmare on Elm. So you were like, because originally I was going to do Terminator. Terminator. You could do Terminator or Nightmare on Elm Street. And I was like I think that's the Freddy one. So looked it up and it was yeah but I truly I think I've seen some of your episodes I think people come in with like a general idea of what it is yeah I know this is a horror film I know what he looks like but like you know You know Terminator I know like Asa Vista baby and like Ibi Bach and yeah, I know there's time travel about I I literally don't know anything. I don't know why that guy looks like that. I don't know why he has a hat. You sound like like a producer. Like they're pitching it. Like I don't even know why that guy looks like that. You guys haven't established enough of this for me just yet. So you're bringing very little. Do you like horror movies? I don't. Okay. Because I'm scared.

This is perfect. This is coming on. So last week's episode was Amy Miller who's on here all the time doing horror movies because she also doesn't like them. Well, I just don't really, I mean, some people are super, I actually don't even get people who are super into it. I don't know what that is about, but I don't really get the appeal.

Like, it's just scary and now you can't pee at night.

Like, what is- Or you pee too much at night? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. So you have, do you like actively avoid going to see them because you don't like the feeling it creates? Sure. Yeah, like I mean, I've scores, when I was like a middle school I'd watch like The Ring with my friends because it was like scary to watch. It's scary. It's terrifying. That's a terrifying movie.

But I think that was, When I was like a middle school, I'd watch like the ring with my friends because it was like scary to watch.
