| 0:00.0 | Hey there, CEO teachers. Welcome to our brand new series you asked, we answered, and we are back |
| 0:08.4 | in action. We have so many amazing interviews coming your way in this brand new series that's titled |
| 0:14.6 | The Full Time Teacher. I love when people throw that question into my direct messages on Instagram and say, |
| 0:22.0 | yeah, but Casey, you're not in the classroom anymore. You don't really know what it's like |
| 0:26.5 | to build a business and to be a full-time teacher. It always takes me back to those days in 2013, |
| 0:32.1 | 14, 15, 16, 17 when I was working 40 hours a week and trying to build this business as a quote, unquote, side hustle. |
| 0:41.0 | That time I was a mom to three boys. It was so tough trying to juggle both because if you're doing |
| 0:47.9 | things the right way, you want to make sure that you are a full-time teacher, those 40 hours a week, |
| 0:53.2 | not working on your business while you're |
| 0:55.0 | at school, of course. And then when you leave, you have to step into that role of mama or friend |
| 1:00.9 | or sister or brother or whatever other role you have in life. And then once the wee hours of the |
| 1:07.3 | morning come around, you have to step in that role of teacherpreneur. For me, |
| 1:11.8 | there was this fire inside of me that couldn't stop. This business brought me out of the deepest, |
| 1:16.9 | darkest days of my entire life. I went from extreme postpartum depression that you can listen to |
| 1:22.6 | on one of our podcast episodes titled, From Depression to Determination to the most vibrant beautiful days of my entire |
| 1:29.6 | life. Leaving the classroom was the hardest decision that I've ever made in my entire life, |
| 1:34.6 | but in 2017, I knew that my mission in life was to help teachers feel the joy that I had |
| 1:41.8 | felt by creating my own teacher business. And that's what I'm doing |
| 1:46.2 | here today in 2020. Even with all the craziness going on in the world today, I still know that I was |
| 1:51.4 | put on this earth to empower every educator to build a legacy online by selling their teaching |
| 1:56.7 | resources. But I wanted to make sure that I was helping you right where you are. So in this series, |
| 2:02.9 | over the next few weeks, we are interviewing actual teachers that are still in the classroom |
