Summary

Mark talks about Bill Pulte, whom Trump wants as his new intel chief. Over at CBS News, Scott Pelley from 60 Minutes has been fired after some drama with the execs, and the show's ratings aren’t what they used to be. The White House Correspondents' Dinner is making a comeback and moving to a new spot. Also, Steve Hilton had a strong performance in the California Primary. Mark interviews Fox News contributor Liz Peek. She weighs in on whether Steve Hilton stands a real chance in the governor’s race. Meanwhile, Karen Bass is ahead of Steven Pratt for Mayor of Los Angeles. Liz questions what Karen Bass has actually done for California and is skeptical about the Democratic Party shifting back to the center. There’s been a meeting at 60 Minutes about possible lineup changes, and Mark explains how these things usually go in the broadcasting world, drawing on his own experience. The DOJ is investigating George Santos for allegedly making money from sports betting and other issues. Tom Homan, the Border Czar, says Delaney Hall in Newark, NJ, isn’t closing down, which is drawing a lot of national attention because of the conditions there for immigrants. Senator Bernie Sanders also chimed in, saying AI mostly seems to benefit the wealthy right now. Mark interviews author Ann Coulter. They discuss whether Steve Hilton and Steven Pratt could actually win in California and if there’s any shot that the state turns red. Ann also shares her thoughts on Scott Pelley’s firing from CBS News, pointing out his history of liberal comments that Mark agrees with.
