And of course this is the anniversary of Woodstock and I went in 1969 as opposed to the

1968 Woodstock which was far less successful.

And there was, I went because a couple of buddies of mine who were far more hip and

attuned to the music of the day and I having virtually no life at that point in time

was joining them for what was going to be you know several thousand people at this big rock fest and it turned out to be Woodstock but to show how

absolutely out of touch I was when the who came on they were really the first

group that I thought I knew I thought they were the guess who at that time

at a song these eyes and finally after a day and a half of what to me was

completely unknown obscure loud music in the heat in the mud finally a group I could sink my teeth in when they started to sing these eyes to which I could boogie along like the other 500,000 people.

Meanwhile they do two hours, it's four in the morning, and at the the end they do the rock opera Tommy at the

end of which they smash all their instruments but they had not yet sung

these eyes and I'm thinking how stupid can you be you got one you have one and you're breaking your answer?

What are you going to do it a cappella?

How stupid they have no sense of the idea.

Mr Woodstock and so. But you were actually there. I hated it. It was muddy and

rainy. Oh yeah Jews are not meant for mud. We need we need room service.

I did not particularly enjoy it, but I was there, I was there.

And despite that I still couldn't score with him for years.
