And man, isn't a doozy of a brand new Awkward Tuesday phone call. Oh, yeah. You know, you just meet your future possible boyfriend at your own wedding. Happens all the time. Doesn't seem to be an issue, right? All right. We're going to get into it, but first, the comments. Roman said, love y'all, and I need to know Brooke's prescription for her glasses to know if it's worse than mine. Oh, yeah, say the numbers. Oh, I can't remember. So I always thought I was negative 11. Like one side was negative 9, one side was negative 11. But I just went to the doctor and it was more like negative 14 and negative 12. Whoa. What is it supposed to be zero? Yeah. Yeah. Wow. Yeah. Yeah. Your eyes are like not even circles. Wow. They're shaped like cubes. No footballs. Let us know when you hit negative 20 one day. That's going to be impressive. I'll let you know. All right. You can see behind you? There it There it is. You're brand new. Full hour starts right now. How much money should you be making on your commute to work? Wait on? Making or spending burning gas? How do you make money on your commute? How do you ask 10 questions after the one sentence that I've just said? Can you repeat the question? It's Brooke and Jeffrey in the morning.

I bring this up because a new study found that the average American spends about 223 hours a year, commuting to and from their job.

1:20.3

These stats are so depressing.

1:22.6

Like, it's no wonder we don't get anything done in our lives.

1:25.3

When you think about it, that is a lot of time being trapped in a car, being forced to listen to our show. Sorry, guys. I know. I know you miss working from home, mostly because of having to listen to us. Exactly. So what if you got paid for that daily period of suffering in your life? What are we going to do? That seems fair. Can we put a billboard on our car?

1:44.9

Is that what we can do?

1:46.0

Oh, yeah.

1:47.3

I don't think it's a bad idea. Well, since the average hourly wage is around $37, you multiply that by $223.

1:56.3

The average commute in America is worth $8,158 a year.

2:03.2

Oh.

2:04.3

Wait, you're just telling us how much money we could be making.

2:06.4

You could be, but you're not.

2:08.6

I thought this was going to be more positive, Jeff.

2:10.8

That's just the average.

2:12.1

Your total could be higher or lower, depending on how much you personally make and how long

2:16.8

your daily commute is.

2:18.2

Okay.

2:18.7

But we don't want you to think about all that money.

2:21.1

That's not going into your bank account right now.
