I started listening recently, and I think you and other Washington fans have short memories.

RG3's rookie season was equal to Jaden's rookie season, and his knee injury killed his career. Daniels takes

big hits and is one unlucky big hit away from trouble. Both guys took the league by storm

in identical ways. I'd back off Jaden's career being on a path to the Hall of Fame already.

You and your audience have forgotten that you've already been down this road and you're not alone. How is the kid number

five after one season? The rest of the league has forgotten the RG3 story two. Thank you, Yeti, for that. I'll get to my response on that in a few

minutes. Man, a lot of response to the Jaden ranking at number five. And actually, we took a lot of calls

yesterday on Jaden's ranking being appropriate and not too high. In fact,

a few people said it should be even higher. But a lot of the conversation we had on phone calls

yesterday, Max, was about Lamar Jackson being ranked below Joe Burrow and even below Josh Allen as well.

But in just going through a lot of the emails and tweets after yesterday's show,

it seems like a lot of people think Jalen Hertz was really the controversy on that list ranked

at number nine, that that wasn't nearly high enough.

I don't know, man. I think Jalen Hertz being a top 10 quarterback is, you know, and closer to 10

than 5 seems right to me. Jalen Hertz is a clutch performer. There is no doubt about that, but I don't think his overall

skill set and talent level is at the level of the guys in the top four, top five, or even a

Stafford, even a Herbert, to be honest with you. I think if you were starting a team, you'd probably still take Herbert over

Hertz. It could be the draft status with Hertz. You know, ultimately, out of all those guys in the top

10, only one wasn't a top, wasn't a first round pick, and only two weren't top half of the first round picks. It goes to show

you that more times than not, if you're going to get a top flight quarterback, whether at the

elite level or in that top 10 area, you got to draft one in the top half of the first round.
