Durante Jones is the new defensive coordinator. Who? What? How did that happen? We'll try to figure it out today on the show and we'll give you guys a chance today. Hopefully everybody getting back to normal. I know some of those neighborhoods are still kind of locked in. I took a spill last night.

There was a day where pretty much you had to show up for work every day, regardless of what was going on.

I'm waiting to hear back, not from church, from somebody who we've had on before, Phil Mackey. We'll see if we can get

Phil on to talk about Durante Jones, who comes from, obviously, the Brian Flores system, but also

the Ed Orijon system at LSU. Old L lsu tigers yay coach there as a defensive coordinator in

2021 they weren't very good on defense but man did they take the ball away that's something

that dan quinn really wants number one priority before the season started when he was on with me defensively,

we've got to take the ball away. After the season ended this year, what was the biggest

disappointment? We didn't figure out how to take the ball away. Well, Durante Jones comes

from a system that has taken the ball away, and he did it even without Brian Flores at LSU.

So I got home fairly late last night because I was in here doing a lot of stuff, and why deal with, you know, the crazies on the road

when you're inside and warm and working?
