Colin Calhurt once said on one of the many shows he's done over the years. He said,

it was a good line. He said, there's football season, and then there's waiting for football season.

And I kind of feel like come Monday, we're at the beginning of waiting for football season.

Yes, there will be a Super Bowl, but the Super Bowl is always, you know, a two-week wait, a

standalone kind of thing, more of a pop culture event than it is a football game.

This is truly the last Sunday of real football start to finish that we will have

until next September. It kind of gets depressing, doesn't it? It's kind of the world we live

in, too, in the United States of America. It is football, football, and football.

Wizards lost last night to Denver, 107 to 97. Good morning, everybody. Max is here with me. The snow

and ice. Yes, ice is coming. It's not what we want. We don't want the ice. We certainly don't want freezing rain.

Doug Camer from Channel 4 will jump on with us at 1230. So we'll have a lot of the late morning, early afternoon model runs in. He'll have all of the latest information,

and he will give us his call, the last call at least on this show, for Saturday night,

Sunday, Sunday night, maybe even into Monday morning. We'll see how long this storm lasts.

And I'll give you my own prediction.

Yes, that's what the powers that be want me to do today. We will do that at the end of the

show after Doug leaves. I'll give you a prediction and we'll sync those, that prediction,

into the predictions for the two games.

Not that we're not going to talk about the two games between now and the end of the show.
